Part of the concern FCA, the Abarth 500 company plans to release "charged" version of crossover Fiat 500X.
This is with reference to operations Director of the Alliance FCA Alfredo Altavilla reports Auto Express. "We are thinking of how to expand the Abarth range beyond the "charged" version of the model 500. 500X and one of the options that we are exploring," commented Altavilla.
It is expected that the "charged" crossover will be different from the regular version 500X brand aerodynamic body kit, new alloy wheels of original design and reduced ground clearance. It is expected that the Abarth version will appear 1.75-liter 200-horsepower turbocharged engine from the Alfa Romeo 4C. In result the Abarth 500 will compete with the Nissan Juke Nismo RS and MINI Countryman JCW.

To date, the most powerful version of the Fiat 500X equipped with the 2.4-liter petrol engine capacity of 184 horsepower. It is paired with a 9-step "automatic". Abarth 500 buyers can choose between front-wheel and all-wheel drive.
